Join us for a day at Glenstone in Potomac, MD! Glenstone is described as a place that seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and nature into a serene and contemplative environment.

Exhibitions On View

The Glenstone will feature multiple exhibitions in their museum buildings, including works by Jasper Johns, Cy Twombly, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Alex Da Corte, Charles Ray, and many more.

Glenstone also features outdoor sculptures, including works by Andy Goldsworthy, Jeff Koons, Richard Serra, Ellsworth Kelly, and others. These sculptures are located throughout the museum’s grounds, viewed from pathways that weave through wooded areas and native meadows.

Lunch

Lunch will be on your own at Glenstone. The Cafe features seasonal menu items made with locally sourced ingredients. The Patio features espresso drinks, beverages, and pastries. Sample menus can be found on the Glenstone website (glenstone.org/dining-bookstore).

Itinerary

• 9:15 - depart Lancaster (leaving from Lancaster Shopping Center, 1515 Lititz Pike, facing Oregon Pike)

• 12:00 - arrive at Glenstone; free time to explore exhibits, eat lunch

• 4:00 - depart Glenstone

• 6:45 - arrive in Lancaster

Price: $100 member, $115 non-member

Refund Policy: The museum we are visiting requires ticket reservations and non-refundable payment several weeks in advance. Should you need to cancel your participation in this trip, we are able to offer a 50% refund through March 6. After March 6, no refunds will be available but if you still need to cancel we can convert your bus trip ticket to a tax deductible donation if you wish.
