From magazine illustrations to theater and interior design, Robert E. Locher (1888 - 1956) was a powerhouse in the design field. Starting his career designing costumes and sets for various theater troupes in Greenwich Village, Locher went on to work with publications such as Vogue and Vanity Fair and design interiors for New York’s elite.
