Counterbalance is an exhibition designed to bridge the gap between the two vibrant arts communities of Lancaster and York, Pennsylvania by fostering an authentic togetherness and expansion of our two arts communities into a collaborative, growing, and exciting ecosystem.

This two-part exhibition will feature the same artists at both locations, with new work installed for each edition. The artists involved have been considered for this group exhibition based on the quality of their work that transcends the local aesthetic, with a focus on contemporary, forward-thinking, and risk-taking with solid craft.
