62nd Annual Community Art Exhibition Entry Guidelines
Eligibility
The 62nd Community Art Exhibition is open to all artists 16 years of age or older who reside or work in Lancaster County. If not a county resident, entrants must be a member of the Demuth Foundation.
Entries
All media eligible.
Each artist may enter one piece, which will be accepted for exhibition. Work previously exhibited in a Community Art Exhibition is not eligible. Entries must remain on display until the close of the exhibition. All work must be original and for sale at the opening of the exhibition. Work designed as a set will constitute one entry.
2-Dimensional work must be ready to hang. No clip frames permitted. The entry (including frame) cannot exceed 24 x 24 inches.
Sculptures must not weigh more than 50 lbs., nor exceed 18 x 18 inches at the base, nor exceed 8 feet in overall height.
Dimensions will be strictly enforced to ensure there is space for all entries.
By entering art in this exhibition the artist grants the Museum permission to photograph the work for publicity, catalogue or educational purposes. Submission of entry constitutes the artist’s agreement to all conditions in this prospectus.

Pick-up Work
July 23 - 26 from 10 am - 4pm
Artwork not picked up by July 26, 2024 will be considered abandoned property and will be handled at the discretion of museum staff.

Juror
Matthew Clay-Robison is the Gallery Director at York College of Pennsylvania. He received his B.F.A. from the University of Connecticut and M.F.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Clay-Robison is also an artist, focused mainly on addressing issues of social justice through printmaking. His work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States and internationally. His prints belong to several public and private collections. As a 2020 Fulbright U.S. Scholar, Clay-Robison served as Curator-in-Residence at the Indonesia Art Institute of Yogyakarta.
Insurance & Liability
The Lancaster Museum of Art will insure works at the Museum between May 28 and July 26, 2024. The insurance value is either the sale price or another value established by the artist. In the event of a loss, the insurance carrier reserves the right to establish value using standard industry practices. The Lancaster Museum of Art will not be responsible for damage caused by improper framing, instability, or inherent vice.
SALES
The Lancaster Museum of Art will charge a 30% commission on art sales during the run of the exhibition.
