Premiums & Payment Information
Both sellers and buyers of art at this auction will pay premiums on final prices to the Demuth Foundation to support our mission and fundraising efforts. By registering to bid you agree to a buyers' premium of 20% of the winning bid. Many sellers have voluntarily increased their premium to support the Demuth Foundation; some have pledged 100%. We are grateful for the generosity of all participants, as well as the many volunteers who have given their time and efforts on behalf of the Demuth Museum.
Cash, credit cards or personal checks are acceptable as payment for live and silent auction items. Payment must be made by the close of the live auction unless other arrangements have been made prior to the opening gavel. A 6% Pennsylvania state sales tax will be assessed on the total price, as well as the 20% buyers' premium.
