Jennifer McCurdy obtained her BFA from Michigan State University in 1978. She lives on Martha’s Vineyard, and exhibits and teaches across the country. McCurdy uses a translucent porcelain body for her work and draws subject matter from nature. Her work is in renowned collections across the country, including the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, The Brooklyn Museum, and the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, California.
