The Demuth Museum features a rotation of exhibitions for our visitorship expanding on the artwork and legacy of Charles Demuth and his contemporaries. Please note the days between scheduled exhibitions as days the museum will be closed for the installation of the new exhibit. The Demuth Museum is also closed to the public for the month of January.

Valentines for Charles Demuth

Annual Demuth Invitational Exhibition
February 4 - 26, 2017

This annual exhibition invites Lancaster area artists to create a work of art based on a Charles Demuth inspired theme. This year's Invitational challenges participating artists to create a unique Valentine for Charles, using his 1896 Valentine as inspiration. The original Valentine remains in the Demuth Museum archives.

Kent, Evan Kitson, Karen Labiak, Matthew Lawrence, Paris Wyatt Llanso, Carol Morgan, Richard Ressel, Peg Richards, Kimberly Bulcken Root, Barry Root, Kerry Sacco, Lou Schellenberg, Mimi Shapiro, Jean Sharf, Ellen Slupe, Janette Toth-Musser, Teri Traner, Linda Weidman and Dick Whitson.
