Gardens and Volunteers Sought for 2003 Garden Weekend Over 200 guests attended the Garden Gala at Conestoga House this year, and over 1,500 people registered for the Garden Tour, but prepartions for these annual fundraisers goes on almost all year long. The Foundation is always on the lookout for unique gardens, for volunteer garden sitters, and for several other important committees in connection with the annual Demuth Garden Tour during the month of June. This major fund-raiser requires nearly all of the other months of the year for its preparation as well as the combined efforts of a number of people. Board member Joel Ember has agreed to serve as co-chairman and will welcome suggestions. Please call the museum office with suggestions at (717) 299-9940. Next year’s Garden Tour weekend is scheduled for June 6 through 8.
