HAIL AND FAREWELL AND ENCORE
Five new or former members joined the Demuth Foundation board
of directors this month
JOEL EMBER is Assistant Vice President and
Manager for the Ephrata National Bank in Lititz.
He serves on the Board of TRACK (Teens Responding to Adult Caring
and Kindness. Joel holds a BA in political science from Point
Park College in Pittsburgh, and he has a strong interest in
art and education.
AILEEN HAMILTON is an officer of Hamilton
Equipment Company and Hamilton Distributing. In the past she
has served as co-chair for the Spring Fling of the Suzanne H.
Arnold Art gallery at Lebanon Valley College, and last fall
she served as publicity chair for the Foundation’s Sixth
Auction for Artists and Collectors.
BRUCE KELLNER returns to the board after a
two-year hiatus, during which he continued to edit the Demuth
newsletter. An emeritus professor of English at Milllersville
University, Bruce edited The Letters of Charles Demuth for the
Foundation, and recently he published a memoir, Kiss Me Again:
An Invitation to a Group of Noble Dames.
KATHLEEN TYLER is the First Vice President
of Investments with Hazelett, Burt, and Watson. Kathy has just
completed a term as President of the Lancaster County Historical
Society. She has a strong interest in historic preservation
and the revitalization of downtown Lancaster.
BRUCE WOLSTONCROFT, ESQ. is a partner with
the law firm of Barley, Snyder, Senft & Cohen. Bruce has
already been generous in offering his advice when the Foundation
has sought his legal expertise, since his speciality is in matters
of Intellectual Property and Technology.
