The Demuth Museum is mounting a special exhibition this spring in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of our Garden Tour! This exhibition, comprised of works from the Demuth Museum permanent collection, private collections and other museums, will focus on Demuth's watercolors of flowers from his mother's garden. Demuth's portrayal of the flowers from this garden span his career and give us a unique opportunity to explore his evolution towards a mature style. This Victorian garden, which lay just outside Demuth's home, is still enjoyed by Museum visitors today. Additionally, this exhibit will include a special section of new acquisitions to the Demuth Museum permanent collection.
