Charles Demuth's original home on King Street is now the Demuth Museum.
The Demuth Foundation has restored the home and its gardens. The original gate just to the
left leads to the courtyard and entrance to the museum. The Demuth Tobacco Shop is to the
right of the house. |

| In the court yard the Lutheran Trinity steeple is visible just over the
roof of the house. The steeple was subject matter for Charles' paintings. The Foundation
has restored the original gardens kept by Charles' mother |

The most recent restoration work is the shed at the rear of the house.
During the restoration of the shed the Foundation took on an archeological exploration of
the ground around the shed. |
