INTRODUCING TERI TRANER
In October, Teri Traner joined the Demuth Foundation staff
as Assistant Director and Curator. Her duties will include organizing
and hanging exhibitions, documenting acquisitions, maintaining
the archives, and managing the museum’s reception desk.
A Lancaster resident since 1987, Teri has been
an active member of the local art community in various organizations.
Recognized for her eclectic mixed media work, she exhibits regionally
at colleges, museums, and commercial galleries.
Teri holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting
and printmaking from East Tennessee State University, and a
Master of Fine Arts degree in visual art from Vermont College.
She has been employed as a sales representative
for Childcraft Education Corporation, and her past experience
has included positions in commercial printing, advertising,
and education. Teri lives in Lancaster with Alice, her Jack
Russell terrier, named for Pennsylvania artist Alice Neel.
